La Fiorita

La Fiorita consists of 4 vineyards that have a total area of about 9 Ha, fully Brunello di Montalcino certified.

The positions of the 4 vineyards are profoundly different from each other in geographical position, altitude, exposure and soils.

The production goal of La Fiorita has always been to heighten these differences among the terroirs and to exploit them both in the preparation of single vineyard wines and in blends. Indeed, the Brunello vintage stems from the blending of the two vineyards of Poggio al Sole, Pian Bossolino and Fiorita, while the Reserve is usually the result of only the Pian Bossolino vineyard alone.

The Brunello products released so far have been produced via fermentation in a truncated conical vat of Slavonian oak, aged for 24 months in tonneaux, a short interlude in steel and then a good 18 months in the bottle before being placed on the market.
